This is an agreement between you, the purchaser and licensee, and Happy Medium Studio. By purchasing and installing or otherwise handling the digital typeface software (hereafter fonts), you accept the terms of this agreement. If you do not accept the terms, you can not download or request or use any Happy Medium Studio fonts. 

Upon adding font to your cart and completing the checkout process, Happy Medium Studio supplies you a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the font on the number of workstations determined by the number of licenses you have selected. For example ‘Up to 2 computers’ license permits you to install the licensed font on up to 2 devices owned by a single person or within your company/organisation at one (1) geographical location, and shall not include usage by clients or other third parties. You are not receiving the copyright to the design or any other part of the fonts, but the rights to use the fonts as specified in this agreement. You can make archival copies of the fonts for your own purposes, counting additionally to the amount of devices you licensed the fonts for. You shall not distribute the fonts to people outside of your organisation. It is requested that you store this in a secure location on an offline hard drive, on a disc or in a private and secure cloud storage facility. You agree not to edit, modify, reformat, translate, hack or otherwise pirate the font files. You agree not to alter the copyright notices as contained in the Font Software code. You may not commission a third party to modify the fonts. You agree to not recreate or base your own font on Happy Medium Studio font character designs. We do offer full customisation services for my typefaces, from just a few glyphs to whole families. Please contact us with your request and we will send you a price quote for the job. You agree to treat the font as confidential information. You may not distribute, lend, rent, sell, give away, publicly or privately share any modified or unmodified version of the fonts. 

Desktop Licence Information

The Desktop License grants you permission to use the fonts to create visual content in desktop applications such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop. Content such as (for example, but not limited to): graphic designs, branding, advertising, artwork, book covers, clothing designs, business cards, logos, magazines, signage, packaging, posters or other printed designs. You are permitted to use fonts on websites via flattened static images only (JPEG, PNG, etc.). The Desktop License can be used to create content to represent yourself, an event, place, product, brand, company, or another person(s) in ways that will result in financial or material gains. It is prohibited to use the fonts in anything promoting racist, homophobic, sexist or in general discriminating and hateful context. If you purchase a license for a project for any of the fields stated in this paragraph, you are not allowed to use the fonts, and you are not receiving a refund. Desktop License Font Software is not permitted to be used on the Internet as dynamic (selectable) text. The only way you may use the fonts online is via static images such as .jpg, .png or .gif file types. You are not permitted to convert my fonts to be used online. 

Technical Information

All transactions are charged in Australian Dollars. After completing your payment, you will receive an email containing a link to download your licensed fonts. Desktop fonts are delivered as OpenType format and work on both Mac and PC. Further licensing options for use in broadcasting, web, mobile applications, video games, e-books, software, devices and all other electronic programs, applications and interfaces are available on request. Any usage of the fonts are at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the font files work perfectly on every platform, operating system etc. However, if you do experience any difficulties with my fonts, we will look into the problem and hopefully send you a fixed version immediately. Unfortunately we can’t give you a refund. Please place your orders carefully as all purchases are final. We do not offer any refunds or exchanges for other font files. Any breach of the terms and conditions of this agreement terminates your license to use the fonts. After any termination of the agreement you must destroy any copies of the fonts, including your archival copies. By purchasing Happy Medium Studio font software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of our license agreements. All fonts are exclusive to Happy Medium Studio, and are not available for purchase at any other vendor. As we are operating in a changing technological environment, the right is reserved to adjust the EULA at any time. Changes will be effective instantly upon posting of the amended EULA. You are responsible for ensuring You have read the latest EULA at your time of licensing. Your use of Happy Medium Studio font software represents that you agree to the EULA as amended.
