Our Studio
Led by Creative Director Kieran Stowers, Happy Medium is an independent design studio based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. With 14 years of experience as a Design Educator, Researcher, and Senior Graphic Designer, Kieran has consulted with global brands big and small, merging design thinking with a passion for working with good people to do good things.

It’s important to us that we remain adaptable, so you won’t find a particular in-house style here — instead we prioritise natural and easygoing experiences with each creative brief; focusing on engaging the mind, touching the heart and tickling the funny bone.

Being Sunshine Coast locals, we've built real relationships with the best printers, photographers and developers in our region. When we say we'll equip your brand to succeed, we mean it literally. You're getting access to our carefully curated creative network, not just some folder of PDFs. The result? A brand that feels unmistakably yours, backed by people who actually care where your business lands.

Depending on the complexity of the project, this iterative process typically takes about 6 weeks from start to finish. Don’t worry, we won’t go and disappear like a hermit — we’ll still ask for feedback and remain in touch as we go. A few days after we present the first concepts (to stay on-track we allow one week max) we’ll set up a follow-up meeting to discuss any refinements and/or feedback We include up to 2 rounds of revisions. After that, we revert to our standard hourly studio rate. Please keep in mind that this schedule is a rough guide and might change a bit. Things like our workload and how quickly you get back to us can impact the timeline. But don't worry; we'll keep you posted every step of the way!
